Heat-treated, ISPM-15 pallets that clear customs

Shipping internationally? Your wood packaging must meet the ISPM-15 standard. We supply heat-treated, properly stamped pallets and crates so your export freight isn’t held up over packaging.

Don’t let packaging stop your shipment at the border

Non-compliant wood packaging is one of the most common — and most avoidable — reasons export shipments get delayed, fumigated, refused, or sent back. The fix is simple: ship on heat-treated pallets that carry the ISPM-15 stamp. Associated Products Shipping Solutions keeps export-ready pallets in stock and builds custom sizes to order.

What ISPM-15 compliance means

  • Heat treated — wood core held at 56°C for 30+ minutes to eliminate pests, no chemicals
  • Stamped — marked with the official IPPC mark, country code, facility number and the “HT” treatment code
  • Customs-ready — recognized by customs authorities worldwide so your freight moves

One compliant source for the whole load

Exporters in Seattle, Tacoma and across the Pacific Northwest come to us because we handle the entire wood-packaging side of an export shipment: heat-treated pallets, custom-size pallets, wooden boxes and crates, and dunnage — all compliant, all from one specialist, all delivered on our own fleet.

Frequently asked questions

What is ISPM-15 and do I need it?

ISPM-15 is the international standard governing wood packaging used in cross-border shipping. If your pallets, crates or dunnage leave the United States, they almost always must be ISPM-15 compliant — heat-treated and stamped — or the shipment can be refused, fumigated or returned at your expense.

How are heat-treated pallets marked?

Compliant pallets carry the IPPC “wheat stamp” showing the country code, a unique facility number, and the treatment code HT (heat treated). Customs officials look for this mark to clear your freight.

What does heat treatment actually do?

The wood is heated in a kiln until its core reaches 56°C for at least 30 minutes. This kills pests and larvae without chemicals, so the pallet is safe for international transit.

Can you heat-treat custom sizes and crates too?

Yes. We supply ISPM-15 compliant heat-treated pallets, custom sizes, wooden boxes, crates and dunnage — everything your export shipment touches can be compliant from one supplier.
